1. Fabricate (4) steel plinth assemblies, each consisting of base plate, wide flange section, and cap plate for four bearing points. 2. Clear lawn site for construction 3. Furnish and install four reinforced concrete footings for large sculpture, after locating and confirming with artist and campus team. 4. Furnish and install raised, compacted Class II aggregate pad to approximate perimeter of sculpture. 5. Fasten (4) plinth assemblies to concrete footings adhesively grouted with threaded rods and hardware. 6. Direct sculpture moving company to placement of sculpture on footings. 7. Field fillet weld steel sculpture at bearing points to plinths. 8. Locate raised steel header around perimeter of sculpture, field weld steel header splices, and install and compact remaining Class II aggregate, backfilling under sculpture and at perimeter mow strip. 9. Coordinate work sequence with inspectors.
