Contractor shall provide administrative support services for Health Promotion programs operated by the County of San Diego (County) Health and Human Services Agency, Aging & Independence Services (AIS), including personnel-related services for individuals who instruct older adult health promotion classes at various sites throughout San Diego County. These administrative services include recruiting a pool of potential fitness and health workshop instructors, verifying instructors’ insurance and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certifications; ensuring instructors submit attendance records and maintain release of liability forms from class participants; managing exclusion/debarment and background checks of instructors; tracking time instructors spend on class time, record keeping, tracking evaluation services and professional development of instructors; and processing payroll for their services. AIS will be responsible for approving qualified instructors, assigning instructors to host sites, coordination between instructors and host sites, coordinating professional development, providing equipment for the classes, and determining rate of pay.
