The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) releases this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information regarding potential improvements to Medicaid eligibility determinations and processing (Eligibility Verification). ODM is seeking information regarding current and best practices for using systems and data to improve or augment the management, efficiency, frequency, and accuracy of Medicaid eligibility determinations and processing. ODM will incorporate the submitted information into a report to the Ohio General Assembly, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 5163.50. The expertise and experience of the vendor and provider community will allow ODM to collect information that will guide a possible Eligibility Verification procurement process.
