The project includes the full turnkey delivery of nine (9) tensioned shade sails and one (1) steel shade structure, including engineering, permitting, fabrication, materials, and installation. A. Poles shall be steel with a powder coated black finish and heavy duty attachment hardware. B. Shade Structure The contractor shall provide, engineer, and install one (1) prefabricated steel shade structure at Liberty Neighborhood Park, McCormack Road and Rustic Oak Lane, Rio Vista, CA 94571: • 24’ x 44’, designed by Superior Shelter or equal • Example specifications and drawings will be included in the RFP attachments C. Contractor Responsibilities The contractor shall be responsible for: 1. Providing all shade sails and the shade structure, including procurement or fabrication of materials that meet the approved specifications. 2. Completing all required engineering and structural design for the shade sails and structure, ensuring compliance with local building codes and applicable industry standards. 3. Preparing and submitting all required plans and documents to obtain necessary permits and approvals. 4. Providing and installing all required posts anchors, footings, and hardware as part of a complete installation. 5. Conducting all site preparation, installation, and erection of shade sails and the shade structure. 6. Delivering a fully functional, safe, and compliant turnkey final product without the need for additional City procurement, material purchase, or services. 7. Coordinating scheduling, inspections, and site access with City staff. 8. Providing applicable warranties for materials and installation.
