The City of Pasadena is requesting proposals from licensed physical therapists in the State of California specializing in movement evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and pain management to provide on-site injury prevention services to the City of Pasadena Fire Department (PFD). The goal of this program is to provide proactive movement programming for all PFD members to reduce workplace injuries, provide support and increase physical resilience, improve recovery times, decrease workers' compensation claims/costs, accelerate return to duty and educate members on movement function and dysfunction. Currently, PT services are available to PFD personnel, however it is reactive after an injury. The Contractor shall also develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to show the value of their services.
