The San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide professional land surveying services for the Hawker Crawford Channel (F02646) in the City of Rancho Cucamonga (Project). The Project in general consists of constructing approximately 4,000 lineal feet of single reinforced concrete rectangular open channel 20’ W x 10’ H, and related junction structures, transition structures, inlets and outlets, cutoff walls, channel fencing, access ramps, roadway reconstruction and utility relocation. The Project will be designed to accommodate 100-year storm flow events. The Project is to divert the existing trapezoidal channel (mix of earthen and concrete) from its original alignment and turn the channel into a single 20’ W x 10’ H reinforced concrete rectangular open channel from south of Beech Avenue, traveling in a southwest direction along the west side of I-15 Freeway, crossing under Cherry Avenue and outlets to the existing San Sevaine Basin #5. This will include a 10’ W x 10’ H double cell reinforced concrete box culvert to convey the flows beneath Cherry Avenue.
