Practice ammunition for .38 caliber semi-wadcutter, 158 grain, RWC reloads, exchange brass (1000 rounds per case). Used cartridge cases will be furnished to the contractor by agency as available. These used cartridge cases are to be weighed and approximate num er of rounds determined prior to shipping to contractor for reloading. Agency will not inspect returned rounds for defects prior to shipment. Contractor is responsible for removing defects. Previously fired cartridge cases must be free of dents, cracks, and ruptures before reloading and shipping to agency. Cases must be reloadable without special processing such as may be made necessary by undersized primer packs or balloon head design. All solid-head commercial or military cases are acceptable provided they have standard-sized primer pockets. All cases must be full length sized prior to reloading. Primers must be non-corrosive, non-mercuric, and of universal size to seat properly in cases with 80LB internal pressure to ensure proper ignition and functioning in service revolvers. All American made revolver primers may be considered acceptable. It is critical that the primer is seated at least flush but not more than .003” below surface. Primers not fully seated will not allow the revolver cylinder to turn and primers too deeply seated will cause misfires when firing double action. Misfires which are a result of faulty primer shall not exceed 2/1000 rounds of remanufactured ammunition. Similarly, cases not resized completely, primers not seated, and split cases shall not exceed 2/1000 rounds.
