The Department is requesting information to update the current fuel management and pumping system for both the gas and diesel bulk fuel tanks. The Department has the following questions regarding fuel management and pumping systems. Vendors should provide responses to these questions and may provide any additional information. 4.1.1 What system components are required? 4.1.2 Does the system require a hard line data connection or can it connect with a wireless access point or cellular data? Is there a manual override if connection is unavailable? 4.1.3 Does the system software require a license or is it browser based? 4.1.4 Is there an on-going cost for software or equipment? 4.1.5 What data is captured in the software (i.e. card number, amount of fuel dispensed, etc)? 4.1.6 Can data be imported or exported and if so, are there any file requirements?
