The Board of Commissioners of the Passaic County Social Services is seeking to qualify law firms to undertake representation of the Passaic County Board of Social Services in various legal proceedings for a term beginning October 26, 2025, and ending October 25, 2026. The law firm must demonstrate experience in local government law, including, but not limited to, experience defending county or local governments in claims brought against the County under the following New Jersey statutes: New Jersey Tort and Contractual Liability Act, N.J.S.A. 59:1-1, et seq.; Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, etseq.; New Jersey Civil Rights Act, N.J.S.A. 10:6-1, etseq.; and Conscientious Employee Protection Act, N.J.S.A. 34:19-1, et seq.
