Design and install new roof-mounted PV array. Waite Design and Engineering LLC has performed a structural assessment of the roof with recommended placement of solar panels. This engineering letter is available from the Town upon request. 1. Work to be completed by a Vermont Master Electrician. 2. Determine existing electrical loads of the building and assess suitability of the existing 200 amp service. 3. Coordinate with the Project Manager and Energy Committee on size of the PV array. 4. Obtain all necessary permits and CPG for the planned work. 5. Fulfill all necessary requirements of the Hardwick Electric Department for the net metering connection. 6. Provide system documentation, maintenance and warranty information for the system. Design and install a new battery backup system. 1. Work to be completed by a Vermont Master Electrician. 2. The assessment of the Town Hall performed prior to the grant award suggested total battery capacity of 27 kWh. Other battery capacities will be considered. 3. Priority consideration will be given to LFP (LiFePO4) batteries. 4. The Town Hall has an existing propane generator. It is desirable that the battery backup system be able to control the generator during the absence of grid power. 5.
