▪ Collaborate with the design team through the design phase and build all electrical systems, including the following: o Electrical o Lighting and Controls o Fire Alarm o Data Communications o Access Control o Camera Systems o Audio-Video (AV) o Emergency DAS o Photovoltaic (PV) Array o Clocks o Generator ▪ Study and analyze various building systems to discover the best value. ▪ Provide input regarding the 2021 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). ▪ Provide input regarding the Clean Buildings Performance Standards. ▪ Coordinate with project team to meet operational systems and associated maintenance objectives. ▪ In conjunction with the project team and Spokane College’s staff, conduct site investigations to confirm existing conditions and provide constructability input to the design team. ▪ Provide input regarding project scheduling. ▪ Participate in the execution planning and provide input into the phasing plan. ▪ Identify impacts to the existing building systems from this scope of work and coordinate with project team on solutions to avoid shutdowns. ▪ Coordinate with the City of Spokane and applicable state agencies having jurisdiction as applicable. ▪ Provide budget and cost development and validation. ▪ Provide conceptual and continuous estimating, target value design (TVD), and cost trend management. ▪ Provide long lead item identification and installation sequencing. ▪ Identify and provide manufacturing innovations and alternative options. ▪ Provide input to coordinate and interface electrical scope of work with other disciplines and systems: o Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Management Systems (BMS) o 3 rd party commissioning agent (for a full operational test) o Testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) o Envelope o Structure o Plumbing o HVAC o Food service and/or appliance equipment o Misc. metals
