The West Virginia Division of Highways is soliciting bids to establish an open-end contract for Deep Injection Roadway Settlement Stabilization throughout the state of West Virginia, to include materials, equipment, delivery, and labor by the Vendor, for WVDOH project sites statewide. This work shall consist of soil densification to strengthen base and sub-base soils under flexible asphalt, concrete, or composite pavement, and structures such as bridge approaches with sleeper slabs, by furnishing and injecting expansive polyurethane material into the foundation soils beneath the pavement through holes or injection tubes inserted into drilled holes at locations and depths as shown on the plans, or as directed by the District Engineer or their designee, while monitoring for movement at the surface. If necessary, injection of material shall continue as needed to lift the pavement to grade.
