ABATEMENT SERVICES Work will be performed at various residential properties within the City of Everett, Washington. The number of properties assigned for abatement services will be scheduled on an as-needed basis and will vary from one to ten properties per twelve-month period. The services required may include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Remove and dispose of overgrown vegetation, including mowing yards and trimming bushes and trees that may be obstructing a public right-of-way or sidewalk. 2. Remove and dispose of uncontained trash and debris, including bagged and loose trash, litter, debris, furniture, salvage material, appliances, vehicle parts, junk, boxes, discarded lumber, or other similar materials discarded in public view. 3. Remove and dispose of household equipment, abandoned, broken, or neglected equipment, machinery, shopping carts, and vegetation piles discarded in public view. 4. Remove and properly dispose of any found hypodermic needles, drug paraphernalia, and human excrement in an approved biohazard manner. 5. Remove and dispose of inoperable vehicles, boats, trailers, utility trailers, unmounted camper tops, motorcycles, and bicycles that have been left in public view. 6. Board all ground floor entrances into a residential structure, including but not limited to windows, doors, and crawl spaces, and board all ground floor entrances into any accessory structure on the property, including garages and sheds, according to Appendix A of the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code Boarding Standard.
