The Contractor shall provide on-call Arborist Services, including but not limited to: A. Tree Risk Assessment & Consulting • Perform tree risk assessments using ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) standards. • Pull Testing: Level 3 (advanced) assessment of tree 2480 using static integrated pull testing due to impacts by grading within the dripline of the tree on site. • Provide written reports with risk ratings, mitigation recommendations, and photographic documentation. • All documentation shall include the UW Tree Inventory number as the primary tree ID. If no number exists, use a letter until the UW Tree Inventory number is determined. • Table of Tree reports shall be available in PDF, Excel, and GIS-compatible documentation. • Advise UW Grounds and Facilities staff on tree health, preservation, and maintenance strategies. B. Pruning, Removal & Emergency Response • Perform pruning to ANSI A300 standards and in compliance with the most current industry safety standards (ANSI Z133). • Remove hazardous or declining trees as directed, including stump grinding. • Provide 24/7 emergency response for storm-damaged or fallen trees. Work on emergency issues shall begin within four hours of dispatch.
