Architectural Design Services: Services to include, but not be limited to architecture; structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering services, plumbing, fire protection, technology (data, telephone, integrated communications systems and computer wiring), kitchen, security and traffic determination in order to meet STC requirements, as may be required. Architectural RFP Windows and Doors 1. Measured Drawings: Construction drawings for the 2001 building renovation are available however, there are no CAD drawings. Architect shall verify existing conditions and create CAD documents of current conditions that will form the basis for demolition and design drawings for all disciplines. 2. State Department of Education Requirements: Evaluate and estimate costs share eligible, limited eligible or ineligible for reimbursement under State guidelines and complete the required state forms to begin the project. Assist in completing other State forms, prepare submissions, and participate in review meetings with the Department of Administrative Services, - Office of School Construction Grants as required and respond in a timely way. This project may go through the grant process depending on the timelines provided by your firm and cost estimates. 3. Life Cycle Cost Analysis: Prepare life cycle cost analyses of building materials and systems per State of Connecticut requirements and guidelines for school projects. Such analyses shall include, but are not limited to, evaluation of alternative equipment and building material options with regard to energy standards and potential long-term savings.
