Contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, and other incidentals necessary to provide service and maintenance for two (2) historic elevators. The elevators are historic and are used daily. The Library Lobby elevator was installed in 1928, by the Otis Company. The North Wing elevator was installed in 1936, by the Otis Company. Contractor shall perform maintenance and inspections on the second Tuesday of each month. The Contractor shall have a qualified journey level elevator service mechanic perform monthly and quarterly systematic preventive maintenance, which consists of Project Manager or designee providing, in advance, a written schedule of the tasks to be performed under the contract; including, but not limited to, adjustments, cleaning, testing and lubrication of each elevator specified in this Agreement. Contractor shall also perform the other work described in this Agreement. All lubricants shall be of the proper composition, quality, and grade for the purpose used.
