The Contractor must field verify items necessary to complete the required work. The following verification items are noted: 1) The existing tank bottom sketch plate dimensions must be field verified for replacement, prior to submitting shop drawings or procuring materials. This includes verification of the tank internal diameter. For bidding purposes assume the sketch plate dimensions and tank diameter shown on the drawings. Notify the Engineer of discrepencies in these dimensions when the field dimensions are obtained. 2) The 20” diameter flanged roof hood vent located at the center of each tank is being replaced with a new 14" diameter goose neck vent. Verify the existing vent flange outside diameter, bolting drill dimensions, and bolt sizes. 3) The existing roof access hatch with a 36” x 36” inside dimensions is being removed, extended, and replaced by this project. Field verify the dimensions necessary to complete this work, including the hatch inside dimensions.
