A. The services shall include, but are not limited to, abating weeds through tractor disking, tractor mowing, hand mowing, and/or weed eating/trimming to trim, turn, or remove specified vegetation from an assigned work area. Use of a bobcat with brush hog flail attachment, or equivalent, is recommended for tractor mowing work, as soil surfaces are often not level or debris free. B. When it is impractical to use a tractor or hand mower, Contractor shall remove weeds by hoe, rake, weed eater or by hand (weed-eater mowing). C. If hand mowing is employed, Contractor shall cut weeds to within two inches (2”) of the soil surface with a commercial grade range hand mower. Use of household grade mowers is not permitted for this work. Cuttings resulting from mowing shall be legally disposed of. All weeds must be removed, including weeds along fences, walls, roadsides, and pavements.
