This project consists of the demolition of an existing Steel Beam Continuous Bridge and the construction of a replacement Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (R.C.S.H.) Bridge over the Middle Branch Emma Creek in Harvey County, Kansas. The existing bridge is a 3-span, 110-foot-long structure with a concrete deck, abutments, and piers. The replacement structure is a 120-foot-long R.C.S.H. bridge with a 28-foot-wide roadway. Associated improvements will include concrete approach slabs, steel guardrail, embankment grading, riprap slope protection, and roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction. The roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction will include full-depth repair, base construction, and a 2” mill and overlay. The construction will include temporary and permanent erosion control measures, traffic control, and signing
