This project provides new exterior lighting improvements for the New Bedford Housing Authority’s Satellite Village development, consisting of 73 duplex-style residential buildings (146 apartments). The scope replaces existing entry/exit luminaires, adds new canopy-mounted fixtures, and introduces new wall-pack luminaires where required. Work includes rerouting and abandoning existing tenant-panel lighting circuits, creating new dedicated “Canopy Entry/Exit Lighting” circuits at each building’s house distribution panel, and integrating lighting control through new photocells tied to existing exterior lighting circuits. The design specifies attic-run MC cable, new junction boxes, conduit penetrations, and updated switching/blanking of existing toggle locations. A full site photometric plan is included to validate illumination levels throughout the development.
