Analyze waste generation data and trends. c. Identify key stakeholders and conduct consultations. 2. Plan Development a. Work with the Materials Management Plan Committee (MMPC) via Zoom. b. Develop a strategic vision for the MMP. c. Set measurable goals and objectives. d. Provide detailed recommendations for recycling programs, waste reduction, composting opportunities, and resource recovery initiatives. e. Provide a strategic plan that specifies roles, responsibilities, funding sources, and methods of providing education and outreach services for residents and businesses. f. Identify potential funding sources and cost-saving opportunities. 3. Implementation Strategy a. Develop an actionable implementation plan with timelines. b. Propose monitoring and evaluation methods to track progress. 4. Stakeholder Engagement a. Assist in stakeholder engagement plan. b. Meet with the Kalkaska County Board via Zoom for questions concerns. c. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into the MMP 5. Final Report a. Prepare a comprehensive final Materials Management Plan that meets the requirements of Part 115 and formatting standards as set forth by EGLE. b. Present the final plan to the MMPC and the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners.
