The project involves the following major items: 1. Installation of approximately 3,700 linear feet of new zinc coated, CLDI water main ranging from 6” to 12” in diameter and all associated fittings, hydrants, valves, and all other related appurtenances. 2. Installation of approximately 2,500 linear feet of new SDR-35, PVC sewer main ranging from 6” to 8” in diameter and approximately 16 sewer manholes. 3. Installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of new, concrete encased, electrical duct bank with associated fittings, structures, and other appurtenances. Work does not include connecting or installing electrical lines which will be done by others at a later date. 4. Installation of approximately 2 new utility poles which will be privately owned by the City of Waltham. 5. Reconstruction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of existing roadway including new granite curbing, asphalt sidewalks, and concrete wheelchair ramps. 6. Installation of approximately 4 new underground infiltration systems with associated catch basins, drain manholes, infiltration systems, drain pipe, and connections to existing drainage infrastructure.
