The University seeks to obtain Pharmacy Benefits Management Services for an initial contract term of three (3) years (2027–2029), with three (3) optional one (1)-year renewal terms in calendar years 2030, 2031 and 2032. The University’s policy requires all major contracts to be competitively reviewed on a regular basis, with the Pharmacy Program reviewed at least every three (3) years. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued to provide a basis for contracting beginning January 1, 2027. Extensions will take place unless the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) or the Specialty Pharmacy Program Provider provides 12 months’ notice of termination, or the University provides 3 months’ notice of termination before the end of the then-current contract term.
