The scope of services includes, but is not limited to: i. Verification of field measurements (estimated ~1,000 square yards, to be confirmed). o A single optional pre-bid site visit will be provided as noted in the Estimated Timeline. Additional or individual site visits will not be accommodated. Contractors who choose not to attend the optional site visit remain fully responsible for verifying all measurements and site conditions prior to submitting a bid. ii. Removal and lawful disposal of existing carpet and adhesives. iii. Uninstallation and reinstallation of auditorium seating as necessary for full carpet coverage. iv. Manufacture of carpet consistent with the approved Holabird & Root design intent and the technical performance requirements of this bid. The Bloomsburg Carpet Industries pattern files (Attachments F-1 and F-2) are provided as the basis of design; however, alternate manufacturers or equivalent custom-woven products may be proposed, provided they match the required construction, fiber content, durability, pattern fidelity, and fire-rating criteria. All proposed substitutions must be submitted with supporting documentation and samples and are subject to City approval prior to award. The City will provide digital design files for final manufacturing coordination upon contract execution. v. Installation of padding, new carpet, and border in accordance with the design layout. vi. Include all adhesives required for installation. vii. Removal, repair, adjustment, and/or replacement of trim, thresholds, tack strips, risers, transition metals, stair nosings, or other incidental materials necessary to achieve proper installation shall be included in the contractor’s base bid and performed at no additional cost to the City.
