General 1.1.1 The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, and materials as described for the installation of a chain-link fence enclosure surrounding PGW district regulator stations at N 9th St and Norris St. The Company is seeking an experienced installer who has successfully completed chain-link fences similar in material, design, and extent of those indicated for this project. 1.2 Fencing Specification 1.2.1 Fence Type: Galvanized chain link fence with factory-installed privacy slats. • Chain-link Fabric: 2” mesh, 9 gauge • Terminal Posts: standard weight, sched. 40, 3” OD • Top Rails: standard weight, sched. 40, 1-5/8” OD • Gate: One (1) personnel access gate, minimum 3 feet wide, swing type, with lockable latch and hinges. • All exposed metal surfaces shall be hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated for corrosion resistance. • Posts & Framework: o Line posts, corner posts, and gate posts sized appropriately for 12-foot fence height. o Posts set in concrete footings per ASTM standards. • Privacy Slats: UV-resistant, weatherproof slats in neutral color (gray, beige, or green). • Hardware: All fittings, ties, and fasteners shall be galvanized or stainless steel.
