Design Package 1: Corsicana High School – Additions and Renovations 3701 West Highway 22, Corsicana, Texas 75110. Estimated Construction cost: $80,000,000 • Scope: New CTE addition, new kitchen, and campus renovations. o This project includes a new CTE addition along with renovations to portions of the existing high school. The new CTE addition is a twostory building that provides four shop spaces—carpentry, welding, automotive, and AG. Mech—along with associated classrooms, offices and service spaces. The combined Auto and AG shop area, approximately 13,500 SF, is designed to function as the storm shelter for the campus. A new enclosed corridor will connect the CTE addition to the existing classroom wing. o Renovations to the existing high school include updates to the cafeteria, which will be expanded into approximately two-thirds of the existing old gym. Skylights and curtain wall systems will be introduced to the current roof and exterior wall. The existing kitchen will be remodeled, with a new kitchen extension added on the west side. o The existing CTE facility will be reprogrammed for new uses, and HVAC will be provided as part of the renovation. Additional campus improvements include restroom renovations throughout the high school and potential repainting of select classrooms. A full site survey and geotechnical report will be required to support the site's work. • The campus will be fully operational during the course of construction.
