The consultant will interview stakeholders, and groups in Town, especially those with lived or living experience, to identify current strengths, gaps, and how opioid settlement funding might be used to meet substance use prevention and treatment, recovery, harm reduction, and mental health promotion challenges. The exact configuration of stakeholder interviews will be subject to discussion and coordination between the Lexington Director of Public Health and the chosen vendor (for example, most interviews might be conducted by video conference system). The consultant will also help review the data from a community-wide survey to review suggestions based on the community's response. Information in addition to the community survey may be obtained through small group discussions and a large community forum. Deliverables: • Interview guide • Invitation to participate • Stakeholder lists • Summary of interviews or meetings The consultant will submit a draft report of their findings. The report will be reviewed by the Director of Public Health. Based upon the feedback and edits to the Draft Report, a Final Report and summary presentation will be sent to the Director of Public Health. The report will present recommendations to define the future use of opioid settlement funds for the purposes of substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery, as well as harm reduction and mental health promotion in Lexington.
