This project includes the construction of a new splash pad at Portola park. The splash pad will include a variety of water features and outdoor showers for public use. The site will need to begraded, All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope will need to be installed, concrete will need to be poured, shade structures are to be constructed, and the water features/ showers are to be installed. all underground work to ensure the splash pad is functional are considered part of the project scope. In addition to the splash pad, the existing restroom will be renovated to improve the structure, ADA compliance and to add a room to house the splash pad equipment. This work will include structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing to complete. All equipment for the splash pad are to be installed in the new room and connected to the splash pad. Construction of new walls and replacing the existing roofing will be needed to enclose the new splash pad equipment room. The existing restrooms will be renovated to demolish the existing fixtures and install new ADA compliant fixtures.
