The Borough of Point Pleasant Beach is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for a consultant or consultants with expertise in municipal insurance and employee benefits. The respondent or respondents selected by the Borough will be responsible for assisting the Borough with all aspects of the Borough’s insurance and employee benefit program which may include but is not limited to: A. Consulting with the Borough regarding coverages and options for property, casualty, liability, flood, workers’ compensation, unemployment and health, vision and dental insurance and other employee benefits. B. Attending meetings and being available for phone consultations with representatives of the Borough. C. Providing regular risk management services to the Borough, including review and advice on adequate levels of insurance coverage. D. Assisting with the development and planning of long range strategies designed to achieve savings for the Borough. E. Assisting with the management of all aspects of the Borough’s insurance policies and employee benefit programs. F. Assistance in the development of alternative strategies to reduce risks to the Borough’s assets and resources. G. Serve as a resource during collective bargaining negotiations.
