Work Needed: 1. Full replacement of the flat section of the Chapel building’s roof to a TPO or EBDM roofing system. This will include removal of current flat roof system, repair of any found leaks or damages, and installation of new TPO or EBDM flat roof system. The new roofing system shall be either a fully adhered TPO or EPDM membrane, installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and all applicable building codes. This task includes removal and disposal of existing roofing materials, inspection and repair of the roof deck as needed, installation of insulation to meet current energy codes, flashing, edge metal, and all necessary accessories to ensure a watertight system. A minimum 20-year manufacturer’s warranty and 2-year contractor workmanship warranty are required. 2. Inspection, repair/sealing, and re-painting of cemetery flagpoles and flagpole moving parts. All visible cracks shall be sealed. Two, forty feet tall flagpoles; one, fifty feet tall flagpole, and all moving parts will be included in this task. Work shall include a thorough inspection of each flagpole for structural integrity, cleaning and surface preparation, sealing of any joints or cracks, and application of a durable, weather resistant paint suitable for exterior metal surfaces. Inspection, repair and/or replacement of the moving parts, (i.e. heavy-duty nylon rope, revolving truck, etc.). Color options shall be discussed with cemetery superintendent for approval.
