This is a request for professional services to assist the UCM Office of Technology with the development of a cloud computing strategy, with particular reference to Disaster Recovery. At present UCM has a mixed cloud strategy that is based on a mixture of OCI, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and locally stored files. Contractor selected shall provide direction for these services as UCM lacks the internal talent to develop such a model. This initiative is imperative as cloud prices and costs are increasing, more products are being bound to specific cloud providers; thus a strategy is required so as not to trap UCM in a wrong path moving into the future. UCM seeks a vendor with abilities in working with multiple cloud providers as well as disaster recovery and backups. The strategy should also include security systems within cloud environments.
