A software suite that is FRA compliant, able to input and track inspections, maintenance, work orders, inventory, configuration management, hours of service, and operational testing. RTD seeks proposals for a cloud-based compliance and inspection software solution that meets or exceeds the capabilities of our current platform comprising three suites: Hours of Service (HOS): end-to-end electronic HOS recordkeeping and compliance for train crews, signal employees, and dispatchers aligned to FRA 49 CFR Part 228. Worker Compliance (training/qualification): Learning management system for training, qualifications, certifications, and efficiency testing supporting FRA 49 CFR Parts 217,219, 240, 242, and 243 (including electronic recordkeeping requirements in 243.203). Asset Inspection Management: Inspection/Work Order management with an integrated inventory control system that supports configuration management both hardware and software for signals, OCS, track/switches (with GPS mapping), bridges, and PTC equipment aligned to FRA 49 CFR Parts 213, 234, 236, and 237. The selected Contractor will provide licensing, configuration, data migration, training, and ongoing support/maintenance. Solutions must be web/mobile-accessible, audit-ready, and deliver robust reporting and data export to meet FRA audits and RTD operational needs. Preferred capable vendors include but are not limited to Maximo, Railroad Software, SafeTracks, Tracsis, MaxTrax, and TrackIt.
