Construction Inspection Services under a Term Agreement for Paving in Region 8. County: Columbia, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Westchester, Orange, Rockland; Work Class: Highway; This agreement will provide construction inspection services on a term basis in the various counties of Region 8 involving paving contracts. The construction work to be inspected will primarily consist of but not be limited to milling and paving of existing roadway surfaces. This will include shoulders, paved gutters, and driveway entrances. There may also be some sidewalk, sidewalk ramp and curb reconstruction to bring these pedestrian areas adjacent to the road work into ADA compliance. Personnel inspecting the concrete work will have to be ACI Certified for Concrete Testing. Inspectors may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
