A. WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM (WPCP) Before the start of jobsite activities, and within seven (7) days after Agreement approval, Contractor shall prepare and submit a WPCP to Caltrans Contract Manager documenting a program for the installation, maintenance, repair, and removal of temporary Water Pollution Control (WPC) Practices pursuant to Standard Specifications, Section 13-2. The WPCP shall be developed by personnel staff who are certified by the following: 1) California Stormwater Quality Association (CSQA) 2) Construction General Permit (CGP) 3) Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Practitioner (QSP) B. JOB SITE MANAGEMENT (WATER POLLUTION CONTROL) Once jobsite activities have begun, Contractor shall appoint a QSP to implement the WPCP and prevent, control, and abate water pollution due to maintenance activities within the waters of the State pursuant to Standard Specifications, Section 13-2 and Section 13-4. C. LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN Before the start of jobsite activities and allowing for at least seven (7) days for review, Contractor shall prepare and submit a plan to Caltrans Contract Manager documenting a compliance program to prevent or minimize worker exposure to lead pursuant to Standard Specifications, Section 7-1.02K(6)(j)(ii) and Standard Special Provisions (Attachment B). D. MAINTAIN EXISTING PLANTED AREAS (MEPA) WORK PLAN Twenty days before the start of jobsite activities, Contractor shall prepare and submit to Caltrans Contract Manager a detailed description of the work area, work methods, and schedule for completing MEPA pursuant to Standard Specifications, Section 20-10.03A(3), and Standard Special Provisions (Attachment B). E. ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING Before the start of jobsite activities, all personnel shall complete environmental training provided by a Caltrans Biologist pursuant to Standard Specifications, Section 14-6.3A, and Standard Special Provisions (Attachment B). Contractor shall submit a request for training to Caltrans Contract Manager at least 15 days before starting work.
