The City of Worcester Filtration Plant laboratory (WWFP Lab.) is seeking a subcontractor laboratory to analyze drinking and surface water samples. Services will include the delivery of properly preserved appropriate bottles prior to sampling; courier services to transport collected samples in an appropriate time frame for delivery to the laboratory; analysis of samples by the approved methods as indicated on the chain of custody forms and analytical results delivered in standard laboratory as well as MA DEP report format. Contractor must be a Massachusetts state certified laboratory and have an active Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Certification for all parameters indicated. • The initial term of contract shall be a period of one year from date of contract with options to renew, at the sole discretion of the City for two additional one-year periods. The Analytical Laboratory must be a MassDEP Certified Laboratory certified for the analysis of interest. 2. Analytical results must be reported with a maximum of 10 day turnaround time (unless otherwise agreed upon by WWFP Lab.) 3. During the project, the laboratory shall maintain the necessary capability and certification to provide laboratory services, within the agreed-upon turnaround times, for each group of samples accepted by the laboratory. 4.
