The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition and Removal o Disconnect and remove the existing domestic cold water entrance, associated valves, backflow preventers, pressure reducing valves (PRVs), sediment filters, and related piping as shown on the demolition drawings. o Protect existing adjacent piping and equipment to remain. o Coordinate water shutdowns with the Owner prior to commencing any demolition activities. 2. Installation of New Work o Provide and install new 4-inch domestic cold water main, valves, double pressure reducing valve (PRV) station, and relocated sediment filter assembly o Connect new water piping to existing mains and branch systems as indicated in the drawings. o Provide new ball valves, strainers, gauges, and associated appurtenances per the specifications. o Route a new 2-inch cold water blow-down pipe to the building exterior, including valve and supports. 3. Coordination o Coordinate all tie-ins, water shutdowns, and sequencing with the Owner to maintain building services with minimal disruption.
