The City of Wildwood Water Utility is in need of approximately thirty thousand (30,000) gallons of Sodium Hypochlorite 15% solution for us in its Water Utility Plant for purification of the potable water supply. The Water Utility Plant has two (2) two thousand (2,000) gallon tanks in which to store this chemical. Said tanks are located at the Water Utility Pumping Station on Route 47 in Rio Grande, New Jersey. Delivery shall be by tank, truck in the amounts approximately 1,000 to 2,000 gallons every thirty (30) days. Exact quantities shall be dependent upon water usage experienced with the Water Utility System. Prospective bidders are encourage to visit the sight to determine any particular difficulties, which may be a difficulty to their performance of the bid requirements. The Sodium Hypochlorite shall be in solution whereas 15% shall be chemical and the remaining 85% shall be inert ingredients. The City of Wildwood Expressly reserves the right to draw test amounts from the successful bidder truck to chemically test the chemical for strength and suitability. Delivery of chemicals that do not meet these standards shall not be paid.
