The Town of Phillipsburg is seeking bids to rehabilitate the existing Mercer Street Playground. The Town has retained a separate contractor to replace the playground equipment and associated safety surface and curb barrier around playground area. Now the Town is seeking a contractor to replace the existing basketball court, fencing, basketball hoops, install a 3 color sports court coating system, installation of sidewalks with park, removal of existing paths, benches and concrete pads/curbs. The base bid includes installation of underdrains and stormwater collection pipe in the playground area. An Alternate Bid will replace the existing curbs (concrete, stone and blue stone) and concrete sidewalk with new concrete curb and sidewalks.
