The County of San Diego (County), Department of Public Works, Transportation Division/ Roads Division I (DPW Roads) is seeking quotes from vendors to provide Fastphalt Primepatch or heatless tack oil equivalent on an asneeded basis to use in making permanent repairs to asphalt and concrete road surfaces. Product Specifications: 1.3.1. Product shall not require heat; 1.3.2. Product shall be compatible with all road patch mixes; 1.3.3. Product shall be all-season material; freeze protection is needed during storage; 1.3.4. Product shall be liquid stable and shall not gum or become viscous, clogging equipment; 1.3.5. Product shall seal patches from winter infiltration eliminating patch failures; 1.3.6. Product shall be NSF/ANSI 61 certified to comply with drinking water materials; 1.3.7. Product shall eliminate any environmental concerns from runoff into rivers and lakes; 1.3.8. Product shall be supplied in 275-gallon totes.
