1. Window Casing & Structural Issues • Several windows have a 3-inch gap where the window is separating from the casing. • This results in heating/cooling loss and allows insects and rodents into the building. • Supplier shall repair or rebuild casings so windows seat properly and seal securely. 2. Windowpane Replacement • Many panes have a white or cloudy film that cannot be removed. • This impacts visibility and creates a safety hazard. • Supplier shall remove and replace all panes that cannot be restored. 3. Repairs & Labor Requirements • Supplier shall repair casings and replace damaged panes on all 37 windows. • Supplier shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, disposal services, permits (if required), and transportation necessary to complete the project. • Supplier must ensure all repaired windows are fully function and weather sealed. 4. Cleaning Requirements • Supplier must haul away all trash, old panes, damaged casings, debris, packaging, and unused materials. • Work area must remain clean, safe, and debris-free at the end of each workday. • No trash or debris may be left on DHR property.
