A. Aquatic Weed Control Scope: Successful vendor shall be required to inspect and treat the entire site once per week to accomplish proper weed control of the cells and islands. The treatment program shall be for the control of floating, emergent, submersed vegetation, habitat islands and transitional zones. B. Interior Berm Weed Control Scope: Successful vendor shall chemically control the undesirable vegetation along the interior berm banks. Treated area shall extend from the water's edge to water’s edge. Spraying shall be to control brush and undesirable broadleaf weeds; however, the successful vendor shall not kill or damage native vegetation, grass, or ground cover on banks that would leave banks exposed to erosion. C. Transitional Zone Control Scope: Successful vendor shall control the undesirable vegetation along the transitional zone. Treated area shall extend from the water’s edge to 10’ up the bank. Successful vendor shall remove vegetation by hand pulling, weed eating (any material over 12” in height), or chemical (any material below 12” in height).
