Provide engineering, materials, install labor and final testing/tuning to replace existing Moore/Siemens 353 firing rate and drum level controllers for Boiler 8 at the Illinois State University central steam plant with a burner management system. These controllers are located in one central control cabinet within the plant. Combustion control system will be a single fuel system with O2 trim capabilities which can maintain a constant firing rate or vary the fire rate to control system pressure using either independent boiler or plant master control. The system shall provide seamless transfers between automatic and manual modes. Drum water level control will be configured for dual element control utilizing both the drum level sensor as well as the steam flow. After new controls have been installed the steam drum water level standard deviation shall not exceed a 0.25” as calculated using 15-minute interval data. Redundant 24v power supplies shall be provided to maintain boiler control during transition to generator power or other short power outages. Provide all applicable I/O terminal blocks. The new controls shall provide “first out” records that display to the operators (with a light and annunciation) for boiler alarms so boiler problems can be more easily addressed
