The East Bay Municipal Utility District (District) invites all qualified bare rent equipment companies to provide their services to EBMUD. It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to result in agreements with organizations that meet District standards for bare equipment rentals. The goal of the agreements is to increase flexibility and vendors availability when needed to augment the District’s inventory of construction equipment, including but not limited to, backhoes, cranes, excavators, and dump trucks. Vendors may be rotated based on need, availability of the requested equipment, and cost of specific equipment required. Equipment rented will be operated by District personnel. EBMUD intends to award a three 3-year contract (with two 2 options to renew for one-year terms) to all the Proposer(s) who meets the District’s requirements
