Engineering Services during the Preliminary Engineering Phase B. Task 1. The Consultant shall meet with representatives from the Village to obtain their criteria and objectives for the project. The Consultant will be given access to the available drawings and pertinent information related to the project. Task 2. The Consultant shall follow the Bureau of Local Roads Manual and the related chapters of the IDOT Bureau of Design and Environment Manual. Task 3. The Consultant shall follow the IDOT and Federal guidelines so future Phases are eligible for Federal funds. Task 4. This resurfacing project will impact the three signalized intersections at Skokie Boulevard, Crawford Avenue and McCormick Boulevard. These are maintained by the State and Cook County. These intersections will each require coordination with the respective agency. In addition, the project must include PROWAG and MUTCD compliant upgrades to all traffic signals, pedestrian signals, sidewalk ramps and crossings within the corridor.
