Scope of work includes but is not limited to: provide all permits, labor, equipment, tools, materials, utility services, and transportation to complete all the Work. Bear Valley Middle School – Culvert excavation underneath Canyon Road The Contractor shall remove built-up soil, sand, silt, debris, and trash, out of the culvert to restore proper drainage. The culvert is in a tributary of the Escondido Creek and is part of the San Dieguito Watershed. The San Dieguito Watershed is under the jurisdiction of multiple government agencies; therefore, the excavation of the culvert will need to be worked by hand using the appropriate tools and with the use of a vacuum truck to remove the debris. No large machinery is allowed in the culvert. The Contractor shall also remove material five (5) feet from both the inlet and outlet apron. All debris shall be removed from the excavation site and properly disposed of by the Contractor at a facility that accepts the debris. At the District’s discretion, the Contractor shall remove all debris to a location determined by the District.
