Any firm selected based on this RFQ process must be capable of providing full specialty engineering services (including audio visual, electrical, IT & telecommunication, and electronic security systems) for any and all selected projects. These services may be needed on a stand-alone basis without an architect or in connection with a project architect. ● Facilities needs assessment, select graphic and other deliverables, inclusive of schematic design documents. This scope of work may include, without limitation, requirements for the modernization of existing buildings and sports facilities, and the potential for construction of new building(s) school sites, link for District’s Facilities Master Plan. https://www.seq.org/departments/administrative-services/construction/facilities-master -plan/index.html ● Perform all pre-planning work associated with development of projects as required by the District, which may include projects under the District’s facility master plan, energy efficiency program grants/rebates, facilities needs assessment and education specifications, project and construction cost estimates, identification of funding options, formulating of recommendations regarding the prioritization of facility and construction needs, partnerships, and a variety of funding programs. ● Perform all design phase work from the preparation of all design development documents, construction documents, and general contract administration work through project completion for new construction, reconstruction, modernization, renovation, and upgrades at various District schools and sites. ● Provide construction administration and assistance with bidding as required and/or requested by the District. Prepare and/or review change orders, respond timely and expeditiously to requests for information, review applications for payment, advise the District regarding filing the Notice(s) of Completion for the Project, and assist with all aspects of Project close-out. ● May assist in diverse communications to various constituent groups such as, but not limited to, public community outreach meetings or other groups as requested by the District. ● Preparing feasibility studies, preliminary documents, for new, renovation and alterations projects, such as electrical equipment and lighting upgrades.
