PA Treasury is seeking bids for translation services from English to Grade 2 Braille for Pennsylvania 529 College and Career Savings Program, Pennsylvania ABLE Savings Program, and Pennsylvania Keystone Scholars. This is a threeyear contract, with a provision of services on an as-needed basis. Certain, but not all, documents will require a 7 day turn-around time; therefore, vendor must be able to provide translations within this timeframe. Two types of translation services needed: Section I: Document Translation - Legal and operational documents Section II: Form Translation I. Document Translation - Product/Services Requested • Translation services from English to Grade 2 Braille for Pennsylvania 529 College and Career Savings Program, Pennsylvania ABLE Savings Program, and Pennsylvania Keystone Scholars documents (see attached examples). • Vendor must have five (5) years’ experience in translating complex legal documents, providing proof, for example a dated document, company existence records, etc. • Vendor must provide two (2) examples of legal documents that they have translated, both in English and Grade 2 Braille. • Pricing quotes must be per word for a 7 day turn-around time, 14 day turn-around time, 30 day turnaround time and 45 day turn-around time. Must complete The Translation Price Table below. • If you cannot meet any of the requested deadlines, (7 days, 14 days, 30 days, and/or 45 days), indicate with “N/A” in the Translation Price Table below. • Vendor must be able to provide a 7 day turn-around time for translation. • Must specify any additional costs that might arise beyond the per word fees. If no additional fees, indicate with “N/A” in Translation Price Table below.
