Unit Specification: Supply and install one (1) new 15-ton rooftop package unit with natural gas heat. o The preferred manufacture is Carrier. We are requesting alternate bid for Rheem. Bidders are encouraged to provide pricing for both. o The unit must be complete with all standard factory components. Installation and Mechanical Requirements • Replace existing unit with new 15-ton package unit with natural gas heat. • The Bidder shall be responsible for all work related to curb adaptations. This includes supplying and installing any necessary transition curbs, curb risers, or adapter frames to ensure a proper and weatherproof fit between the new unit and the existing roof. • The Bidder shall inspect the existing supply and return ductwork connections and perform all necessary duct modifications to properly connect to the new unit. This includes resizing, sealing, fabricating new plenums, or insulating to achieve best airflow and performance. Electrical and Gas Connections • Connect the new unit to electrical service replacing/installing necessary switches, breakers, wires that meet the new unit’s specification and applicable building/fire safety codes. • Gas Line Installation: The Bidder will be responsible for running all necessary new gas lines from connection point to the new unit. This includes all pipes, valves, regulators, fittings, and testing required for safe operation and compliance with building/fire safety codes.
