RAM Data Systems, Inc. (RDS) will provide the necessary software development, upgrade, and technical support services to upgrade and enhance the existing Property and Project Contract Management Database (P2CMS) used by the Port Authority’s Office Space & Property Management (OSPM). The scope of work includes: Database Optimization: Normalizing database tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers to improve performance, consistency, and maintainability. Application Enhancement: Updating all form controls, modernizing and standardizing the look and feel of forms, and enhancing report layouts, label controls, and embedded command file switchboards. User Interface & Experience: Enhancing the user experience through improved design standards, navigation efficiency, and consistency in database coding. System Upgrade: Upgrading the existing R:BASE platform to R:BASE 11, including all supporting components, to improve speed, stability, and compatibility with current Port Authority systems. Integration & Portability: Integrating the upgraded system with current Port Authority infrastructure, including Windows Server and SharePoint, and ensuring forms and modules are optimized for long-term scalability. Cloud Migration: Migrating the P2CMS environment to a secure cloud-based platform to improve accessibility, response times, and data security while ensuring compliance with Port Authority IT standards. Data Migration & Training: Configuring, migrating legacy data, updating interfaces, and conducting user training to ensure a seamless transition from the current database to the enhanced platform. Ongoing Support: Providing continued maintenance and technical support to ensure uninterrupted system performance.
