• Inspect and repair all fiberglass in the slide path, which will include chips, gouges, and spider cracks. • All joints will be inspected and realigned where necessary. • Previously identified seams will be cleaned andre-caulked. • All slide interiors will be cleaned, polished, and waxed, including the enclosed drop slide interior. • Perform scale removal on aquatic play structure, as well as inner and outer surfaces. • Perform scale removal on all slides, including the start basin and end of the slides. • Contractor will realign and repair or replace slide plumbing and couplings as needed; a lift will be provided at the request of the contractor if necessary. • Ensure all launch pads are firmly attached to tower platforms. • Inspect and tighten all hardware connecting slides to support beams. Where necessary, replace missing hardware. • When required or necessary and agreed upon by the customer, paint the exteriors of slides. • Preferred but not required, NARSSO-certified inspector able to provide an inspection report for state-required permitting. • Contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the scope of work. • The City desires an on-going maintenance agreement for a one (1) year period, with option to extend for up to three (3) additional years for a total of four ( 4) years.
